Culinary Tour of Cisternino from Central Puglia

This evening tour helps keep Puglia's gastronomic heritage alive, and we'll do that in one of Italy's most beautiful villages. You'll travel into the Valle d'Itria to Cisternino where an evening stroll will be followed by an aperitivo and dinner at a local butcher's shop. The white-washed town of Cisternino sits on the slopes of the Valle d'Itria, and as one of the ‘Borghi più belli d'Italia', you can expect an evening among scenic surroundings. You'll kick things off with a guided tour of the historic centre and panoramic points, followed by some free time to drink it in yourself. Then, you'll meet up at one of the lively local bars for an 'aperitivo' to start your evening the real Italian way. Next up is dinner at the butcher's shop, featuring a local speciality, ‘bombette' – freshly grilled meat parcels filled with cheese and a few other flavours.
