Trani walking tour

Trani is the pearl of the Adriatic and one of the most beautiful coastal cities in southern Italy.Well known for its magnificent Romanesque Cathedral of S. Nicola Pellegrino on the sea and for its particular historic center, you could find traces of the Jewish community in the Giudecca area, the medieval Jewish quarter of the city with its Scolanova Synagogue. IIn the city of Trani, you could also find the Swabian Castle which was the stage for the wedding party of King Manfredi, son of Frederick II, with Queen Elena of Epirus. You will enjoy a nice walk in the picturesque harbor area, characterized by the presence of other significant monuments such as the Fort of S. Antonio, the Templar Church of Ognissanti and embellished by the arches of Via Statuti Marittimi.
