Reggio Food Tour: Parmigiano, balsamic, cured meats & wines

Emilia-Romagna is known as Italy's Food Valley, where you can find a variety of foods and culinary customs, including famous products like Parmigiano Reggiano and Aceto Balsamico. During this tour, you will have the chance to explore and taste the most iconic Emilian products that have maintained their authentic quality over the centuries. We will meet at 8:30 am at Reggio Emilia's central train station, located in Piazzale Guglielmo Marconi, in front of the main entrance. Our first stop will be at the Parmigiano Reggiano dairy farm, where you will see how the cheese is made and have a guided tasting. Our second stop will be at an "Acetaia" where you will learn about Traditional Balsamic Vinegar's production and have a guided tasting. To complete your foodie experience in Emilia, you can choose between a local wine or charcuterie tasting or a guided walking tour of the city with a lunch included at a local restaurant.
