Walking towards the historical heart of the city, you will encounter the beautiful church of San Giovanni Battista, built in Apulian Romanesque style. The tour continues with a visit to the Casa Cava, an underground environment formerly used as a tuff quarry and now used as an auditorium and conference center thanks to exceptional restoration work. You will then arrive in the Rione Sasso Barisano, to access the rock church of Sant'Antonio Abate.Continues in Sasso Caveoso for a visit to a typically furnished cave-house. During the tour you will cross Via Madonna delle Virtù, the picturesque road overlooking the canyon, crossing Porta Pistola.
