On this interactive discovery experience across Venice's center, you will solve riddles via a web app in your phone’s browser. After you start your adventure on Campo Santo Stefano, you will be faced with ten riddles that will lead you from one spot to the next, unveiling local recommendations, fun facts and the city's history. You will receive all the information you need for your tour in an e-mail after the booking.Explore the fascinating streets of central Venice in an alternative way. You will learn about the city’s mysterious side and discover that there’s more to Doge Palace than meets the eye. You will visit some curious secret places, such as an abandoned convent and an old butcher’s store turned into a vintage boutique. If you want to experience typical Venetian culture and visit contemporary hidden gems at the same time, then this is the trail for you. The hotspots you will discover during this walk include:
- The incredible Doge Palace
- The famous Rialto Bridge
- The wonderful Biennale Art Fair area

- This is a self-guided city discovery experience. No guide will be waiting for you at the starting point
- You can play in a team of 1–5 people. You can share the link with the other team members. Only the team captain will enter the answers
- Right after booking, you receive the play link to the City Trail (sent by email from Secret City Trails)
- This trail is available in English
- The link is valid for 90 days, starting on the date you booked the activity for
- It is strongly recommended to play during daylight hours
- Discover the city at your own pace, take as many breaks as you like
- You can pause the game: once started, you have 15 days to finish
- You need internet connection and a little data. You'll play on your browser. No app download is needed
- Start on Campo Santo Stefano, near the Accademia Bridge, in front of San Vidal’s Church
- End on Via Garibaldi
