What To Expect
An amazing 2-hour guided tour in the Doge’s Palace and St. Mark’s Basilica to discover two symbols of Piazza San Marco.
The tour starts in the imposing Doge’s Palace from where the Doge ruled the Venice Republic.
Admire the Golden, staircase and the many breathtaking artworks. You’ll walk through The Bridge of Sighs to reach the prisons!
Then you will enter in the breathtaking Basilica of Saint Mark, known as the Golden Basilica. Admire mosaics, the San Marco Museum and enjoy a breathtaking overview of St. Mark's Square from the Terrace.

Important info
Not wheelchair accessible. Tour does not operate in case of exceptional high tide or in case of unplanned religious functions (in these cases it can be postponed to the day after otherwise it will be refunded). For the visit of the Basilica suitable clothing is required (no shorts). Comfortable shoes suggested.. Near public transportation. On Sundays, feast days and in case of unplanned religious celebrations the Basilica tour foresees the visit with direct access to the Terrace and to St. Mark's Museum situated on the first floor.. Due to the security reason, luggage and bags are not allowed inside the Basilica. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate. Please note that the Marciana Library is closed on Sundays. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
