This is a tour that allows you to visit the most prestigious areas of Verona: Lake Garda and Valpolicella, on the same day. We will leave Verona at 9.00 am, and we will immediately head to Sirmione, a suggestive peninsula that extends into the southern part of Lake Garda. There we will take you on a motorboat ride and we will discover by boat a part of Grotte di Catullo, ancient Roman ruins. In case of rain, we will visit the medieval castle which dates back to the 13th century.
There will then be some free time to walk in the historic center of Sirmione, before moving to visit a winery and you will finally taste the entire range of Valpolicella DOC and DOCG wines paired with an Italian light lunch. You will try extraordinary wines such as Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto, with their different styles, and discover more about their differences and characteristics. During the journey you will always be accompanied by the fantastic scenery of our hills and their vineyards!

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Specialized infant seats are available. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Please notice. the tour leader, in respect of all the guests, will wait for you in case of late maximum for 15 minutes.. We want you to spend a lovely day with no distress so, please, in booking our tours, inform us if you have limited mobility (in some old cellars there are stairs); or if you have any intolerance or allergy about food/wine. We ask you to inform us if you have any appointment after the tour (if you booked a train ticket, an opera show in Arena or a reservation for a restaurant), so we can do our best to respect the schedule.. In the cellar the temperature is constant 15 Celsius degrees (59 Fahrenheit), so we suggest to take with you a sweater or a jacket; if it will be possible we will try to show you the vineyards, so it’s recommended to wear sneakers or comfortable shoes.
