Take a break from the fast-paced life of Tokyo and journey back to the ancient capital of Japan, Kamakura, which is home to the Samurai. Get a taste of the beautiful landscape, visit ancient shrines and stroll around Enoshima Island, all in a single tour!
Visiting the Tsurugaoka Hachiman Shrine, Kamakura's most important shrine. Then, go down Komachi Street, a popular shopping street where you can enjoy local seafood, snacks, and souvenirs.
Next up is one of the most iconic places in Kamakura, the Kotoku Temple with its huge bronze statue of Buddha. Moving on from Hase Temple, go to the Kotoku Temple, home to the famous eleven-headed statue of Kannon the Goddess of Mercy.
The last step of the tour is Enoshima, a small island located west of Kamakura.
Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Infants must sit on laps. Most travelers can participate. Depending on the amount of participants, English and Chinese commentary might be given in the same bus. There is only one drop-off point at the end of the tour:Near Shinjuku Station (west exit). This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
