Getting a seat at a Sumo match is very difficult, but during this tour you'll get a chance to watch a Sumo training up close.You'll learn more about this sport, you'll see a rikishi (wrestler) will attempt to force his opponent out of a circular ring (dohyō).A local tour guide will take you to the "World of Sumo", where you'll discover much more about wrestlers and their trainings.

  • The itinerary for this tour includes some locations that are not accessible by a wheelchair or stroller
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems and heart problems or pregnant women

Know in advance:

  • You must be 18 years old to participate in this tour
  • This tour runs with a maximum of 6 participants
  • As Sumo stables have the right to adjust their schedule at a last-minute based due to tournament schedule and wrestlers’ condition, please note that there is a possibility that your booking can be canceled. In that case, you will be fully refunded
  • Sumo stables decide if the audiences are allowed to take the photos of sumo wrestlers or the photos with sumo wrestlers
  • Please be aware that guests may have to sit on the floor as most of the stables do not usually offer chairs
  • Infants must sit on your lap

In front of Re.Ra.Ku, located right outside East Exit of JR Ryogoku Station. Please note that there will be two Ryogoku station and the meeting point is the one of JR line, (not Toei-Oedo line). The guide will be holding a red/orange sign saying "Magical Trip".
