Your next stop is the second of the seven great temples of Nara, Kofukuji. The path then takes you south towards the heart of the old town, with a brief stop at the Sarusawa pond first.Finally, you'll wander the quiet alleys and backstreets of Nara-machi, the well preserved former merchants district where we will be able to see and experience traditional arts and crafts unique to Nara. There's no better way to experience a city than through its food, so you'll stop to sample some local delights. The last stop on your journey will take you to a shopping street, perfect for souvenir hunting. Both the JR Nara station and the Kintetsu station are within comfortable walking distance from the finishing point of the tour.
