During this 45-minute session, you will get an introduction to the roots of tea ceremonies in Japan, finding out more about the spirit of Chado, utensils, and history. Then, watch a traditional ceremony performed by a lecturer of Urasenke, which is one of the most famous tea schools in Japan. Have traditional Japanese sweets and learn how to make your own powdered green tea using traditional utensils. In addition, you can take free photos in the vestibule, decorated with kimono and traditional Nishijin textile and Japanese paintings.
