What To Expect
We will explain the history of kintsugi and lacquer for about an hour, and then you will have the opportunity to powder gold (24K gold) which is the final step in traditional kintsugi.
Basically, lacquer is used for this workshop and gold is sprinkled on it. Therefore, after the trial, we will hand over the powdered plate at least 4-5 days later, or we will ship to your home for an additional fee. If you are in a hurry and would like to take home the kintsugi plate on the same day, please inform us.
After taking this work shop you will know about traditional kintsugi and what is lacquer.

Not wheelchair accessible. Service animals allowed. Near public transportation. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Most travelers can participate. not recommended for people who has lacquer allergy. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking
