Uncover Local Japan's Hidden Charms on a Farm Stay Getaway

+7 photos
Get ready to uncover the hidden charms of local Japan not often found on the crowded paths of Tokyo or Kyoto.
Step into Ogo, a serene town north of Kobe, Hyogo. Nestled within the heart of Ogo lies a fully restored traditional farmhouse, your portal to a simpler, more connected way of life.
After check-in, we help you get settled and walk you through the land and farm grounds. We provide a bento box dinner supplied from a stand in Sannomiya that sells local produce. Sleep well, surrounded by the stars and the sounds of nature.
For breakfast, you'll get to select ingredients straight from the farmer's personal garden. We will prepare the Japanese breakfast together, known for its rich and hearty flavors. Then, Jarrod Zenjiro Suda, your English-speaking guide, will walk you through Ogo's Hachiman-gu Shinto shrine and explain the history and customs of Japan's native religion of Shinto.
