What To Expect
Day one: Your journey will begin early in the morning, as you will head towards the North following the main highway that leads to Nairobi, along the railway line built by the British in the late nineteenth century. After an approximately three-hour drive, you will enter Tsavo East National Park from the Buchuma Gate. It is one of the largest and oldest national parks in Kenya. It dates back to 1948 and it takes up a space of over 13000sqm. Around lunchtime, you will arrive at your Lodge where you will enjoy your meal. In the afternoon you will be attending a game drive in the park. You will spend your overnight stay at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge.Day two: You will experience an early morning ride in the park. You will be leaving at 6.30am and return to your lodge for breakfast. Afterwards, you will check-out and depart for Mombasa, arriving to town in the early afternoon.
