Meet with your guide at your hotel and hop-on tuk tuk to begin your tour with first photo stop at the Lion Monument which is the landmark of the city itself. Continue to Tomnub Rolork where you will observe how most of the local’s fishermen earn their living by fishing the surrounding sea. Their activities keep them busy in the early morning such as drying shrimps, fish packing etc.
Next visit Wat Lur, one of the significant Buddhist temples in town. See some ancient pictures on the wall and whilst walking down to the garden, find many sculptures related to religions in Cambodia, Ruesi (an Indian pilgrim) and the statue of King Jayavoraman VII. Continue to the local market Phsar Lurh in town where you can go shopping or just look around all kinds of goods such as fresh food, cloths, electronics devices etc.
Lastly, visit Wat Kraom where its ground was established with significant statues of the Buddha in different postures in Khmer style of arts. Each of them tells the history of the lord Buddhathat locals respect and worship for their merits your journey. Here you have an opportunity to experience a monk offering and jasmine blessing to bring your luck and swipe out bad fortune before returning to your hotel.
