Discover a slice of rural Cambodia on this half day tour, which will take you through some authentic Battambang countryside. After a quick and lively introduction to the history of Battambang, we'll set off to visit the homes and workplaces of local Khmer people, watching them going about their day to day life, creating different traditional local food and drink products. And of course, you'll have a chance to taste them too!
Along the way, you'll discover how rice paper is made, watch sticky rice being cooked in bamboo tubes over an open fire, walk around an old factory where fermented fish paste is made, see dried bananas and banana chips being produced, visit a traditional old rice wine distillery - and more.
