What To Expect
We are going to start the tour from Siem Reap City. The total distance from Siem Reap to Battambang is 164 km, and the journey takes about 3-4 hours by car. Start the day by visiting Wat Ek Phnom, a partly collapsed 11th-century temple situated 11 km north of Battambang. Then, drive to Battambang city and visit the local market.
Take a bamboo train ride to Ta Prohm Krong Koh, a former railway line that has been converted into a tourist attraction. After lunch, visit Wat Banan, a 12th-century temple located 25 km south of Battambang City. Finally, go to Phnom Sapeuv to watch the bats fly out at sunset. We return to Siem Reap after the tour.

Not wheelchair accessible. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.. You are advised not to bring valuables with you on the tour.. You must cover your knees and shoulders when entering the temples.. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers.
