What To Expect

Almaty is surrounded by high mountains, so do not miss an opportunity to come closer!
This is a day hiking guided tour to one of the most attractive mountains spots near Almaty. During a trip, you'll have a chance to see famous Medeo skating rink, Shymbulak ski resort and highest point of Trans-Ili mountain range - Talgar peak (5017m).
Maximum height: 3500m ASL
The tour is not available in mid-season (March-May and October-November), when the avalanche danger is high.
For the trip we recommend to have appropriate clothing and hiking shoes/boots.
Walking part is 4-5 hours in total.
