Negombo coastal bike tour from Colombo

Welcome to the beautiful sandy, coastal village of Nainamadama! Your bike tour will begin on the pristine Sri Lankan shores, where you will ride along laid-back, relaxing ocean-view roads. Here you will see local passing fishermen, sorting their nets after a catch, and locals buying fresh fish for their delicious curry lunch. If you and your guide come across some fishermen pulling their nets, you might stop by and give them a helping hand! You might even be offered some good old traditional palm wine or more commonly known as sweet toddy.Once you've had the pleasure to spend some time with the locals, you'll make your way at a “Wadiya”, (toddy tappers temporary house) and see the production process of these unique drinks and a demonstration. You'll continue your ride to Mahawewa and get to see the town's unique Sri Lankan architecture, partially defined by its Portuguese influence.
