What To Expect

This is the most challenging hike in Sri Lanka. Climbing the sacred conical mountain over 5000 crumbling steps is a glorified experience for all hiking lovers. Many thousands of people climb this mountain every year, but it is more of a pilgrimage. Adam’s Peak is a world-famous religious destination for almost every nation on the planet. It is a hike, more than a trek, and it is challenging. Starting the sacred journey in the morning at the bottom will take until the evening when you reach the top. The height of the mountain is about 2200 meters, making Adam’s Peak Hike Distance over 5 kilometers.

Not wheelchair accessible. Infants must sit on laps. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a strong physical fitness level. Please be ready at the hotel lobby 15 minutes before the pick up time.. Please wear comfortable clothing for the hiking.. The liberal use of sunscreen is also highly encouraged.. Don’t forget to bring your personal medicine and camera.. This experience requires good weather.
