Around 7.30 am your guide will pick up you from the hotel and take you first to Haputale, an earthly Garden Eden where the world-famous Ceylon Tea is growing, and then to the Benedictine Monastery of Adisham. Start your tour at Haputale, a charming little village perched on the southern range of Sri Lanka’s highlands, and famous for Lipton tea and for spectacular panoramic views of the mountains and tea plantations. Then, experience the Benedictine Monastery of Adisham, a former colonial country house built by Sir Thomas Villiers in 1931, which was converted into a Benedictine monastery in 1961. Afterward, enjoy a picnic lunch, before returning to the hotel at 1.00 pm.
