Your tour kicks off with a pick-up from your hotel in Nuwara Eliya at 5.30am to go to Kandy, the second-largest city in Sri Lanka. First, visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Then you can go around Kandy, to enjoy a city tour, before going to Peradeniya Botanical Gardens where you can see more than 4000 species of plants. In the evening, see a traditional Kandyan dance and stay overnight in Kandy.The next day you will start at 7.00am to go to Dambulla to visit the spice and herbal garden to experience Sri Lankan Ayurvedic medicinal plants. Next, you will visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka that is focused on five cave shrines. After lunch, check-in to your hotel and climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is 200 meters high that will take up to 3 hours (together with your climb down). You will then stay overnight in Sigiriya and travel to Nuwara Eliya the next day.
