Start this tour with a pick up at 4.00am from your hotel in Bentota. En-route to Yala, you will visit the Mirissa fisheries harbor where you can enjoy some whale watching including blue whales, sperm whales, and spinner dolphins. Then, you will visit the Weherahena Poorwarama Raja Maha Viharaya in Matara, the largest tunnel temple that is not only popular among Buddhist pilgrims but also tourists visiting the city. The temple has a 130-foot Buddha statue with a Buddhist temple, a pagoda, a sacred bo-tree, and a Samadhi Buddha statue. You will then continue traveling to Yala and stay overnight at a hotel. The next day in Yala, you will start your tour at the Yala National Park, Sri Lanka's most famous wildlife park with 44 varieties of mammals and 215 bird species. Afterwards, you will travel to Galle to visit the Galle Fortress, which is a UNESCO world heritage site, built in the 1600s. Finally, to end the tour, you will go to Hikkaduwa and back to your hotel.
