What To Expect

This tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel at 7.00am for you to go to Lipton's seat, which is a narrow peak where three valleys meet each other. It was believed to be the place where sir Thomas Lipton spent his time after buying the Dambethenna plantation. Once you arrive there, you will try riding a tuk-tuk near the Dambethenna Tea Factory and visit vegetable cultivations and tea plantations. When you reach the top, you will have a view of the five provinces in Sri Lanka and the statue of Lipton. You will also enjoy a hot cup of tea at the visit to the Tea Factory Dambethenna. Then, after lunch, you will be getting on the train from Haputhale and see the beauty of the hill country and will go back to your hotels in Ella.
