Do you know that over 80 percent of the amber found in the world comes from the Baltic and nowhere else? So we have no doubt that you will be fascinated by and interested not only in the museum’s exhibits but also in the engrossing information about the types of amber, its formation, fields of application, trade routes, and the peculiarities of amber extraction and processing.
The museum, located in the magnificent Botanical Park, opened its doors back in 1963, and still holds the title of one of the most visited museums in the country.
