Craft workshop tour from Fez

Enjoy a 3-hour workshop at a studio multidisciplinary art studio offering traditional Moroccan visual arts and crafts workshops where you can choose to learn pottery, weaving, wood or metal carving, or calligraphy. You will start the tour at the studio in the heart of the Fez Medina, where you can learn about the traditional crafts in Morrocco. As you enjoy the class, become part of a trade that traditionally could only be entered into by young Moroccan apprentices. As you learn how to make your art or craft piece, discover the history of crafts and the threats to the tradition as you gain invaluable skills, as well as a greater understanding of both the importance of the preservation of particular crafts.
