A little off the beaten track, Kakku is an impressive land with over 2500 ancient pagodas, most are similar shape and size, are found in long rows closely put together in a square field. It is totally a cultural heritage site that is full of religious structures. We can experience unique historical sites built by King Asoka who brought Buddhism to Myanmar. We can listen to the bells in the wind and enjoy the scenery. Having a chance to learn the stunning architecture, and telling the great stories back of each enchanting pagodas are the best reasons to make the tour more memorable.
