What To Expect
This is probably the best well-kept secret in Cabo.
Just an hour from the coast, there is a true oasis in the middle of the desert. Let us take you there on a scenic and informative walk. You will learn the names of the plants and insects living in this rare climate while hiking on rocks of different shapes, sizes, and colors. The reward of this challenging uphill trail is finding a river along the way as well as freshwater pools, water slides, and a larger pool nested at the base of a waterfall. You will be glad to be wearing your bathing suit to jump in for a good swim, and quickly dry off while walking back to the van. We will then have lunch at a local restaurant serving authentic Mexican food. Afterward, you will be ready to relax and enjoy the view of the desert on the return trip to your hotel.

Not wheelchair accessible. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. Minimum age is 6 years.. Please bring a towel, sunscreen and sunglasses.. Comfortable clothes, tennis / sandals and swimsuit.. The price per person is the same for both children and adults.. The activity lasts 6 hours 30 minutes including round-trip transportation.. Our Fox Canyon hiking tour is considered medium difficulty level, therefore participants should be in good physical condition and at least moderately fit to go on this hike.. Pick-up times are assigned based on the location of your hotel or place of accommodation. Pick-ups start approximately one and a half hours before the scheduled activity time.. As we know the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day, sometimes we will have to change location, reschedule and / or cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). You will be informed of the options and you will make the decision. Factors that could influence this are rain and road cuts.. All transfers are complementary and optional, therefore the price doesn’t change if you don’t use the transfer option.. Available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking

For cruise ship passengers: As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters. Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store.

If you are driving yourself: The meeting point is at the Plaza Gali parking lot, which is located right in front of the Sandos Finisterra hotel. We will meet you in front of the OXXO convenience store which is located at the exit of the parking lot.

If you choose our complimentary transport service: Our round trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. Pick up is approximately one hour before the start of your tour. Upon booking, you can specify your exact hotel. Please contact us to confirm your specific time of pick up one day before your scheduled tour.
We do not offer transportation from hotels outside of the tourist area, such as Hard Rock, Nobu, or Four Seasons (these are approx. 50 min. away from the tourist area); for those hotels, we will pick you up at our standard meeting point:
