The Ecotourism Center is located on the edge of the Lacandon Jungle (deciduous and evergreen), and it crosses the mighty Santo Domingo River, which has different waterfalls and natural spas. There are several varieties of flowers: begonias, orchids, may flower and gigantic trees characteristic of the tropical forest. In the same way we can find birds such as the toucan, water ducks, herons and the Kingfisher, just to mention some varieties, which can be observed during the tours. Within the community you can find different handicrafts, highlights the making of fabrics on the backstrap loom and the typical gastronomy of the region.
