Explore the grandeur of the Sumidero Canyon from San Cristóbal de las Casas
Our adventure begins at 9:00 a. m. in the lobby of your hotel, starting point towards the majestic Sumidero Canyon, shaped by the Grijalva River. During a peaceful 2-hour boat ride, you will be able to appreciate the diversity of flora and fauna of the region.
Afterwards, we head to the historic City of Chiapa de Corzo, founded in 1528 by Diego de Mazariegos. Here, we will visit a Mudejar style fountain from the 16th century. We continue our tour visiting five viewpoints with panoramic views of the Sumidero Canyon.
We finished around 5:00 p.m. m. in the picturesque colonial town of San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, leaving you the rest of the afternoon to explore at your leisure.
