First, you'll head to Xochicalco, which in Nahuatl means 'Place of flowers'. Developed between 650 and 900 AD, Xochicalco is currently on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is the 4th most visited archeological zone in Mexico. Once there, you'll discover its Temple of the Feathered Snake, Acropolis, Grand Pyramid, Observatory, and other prominent constructions.After Xochicalco, you'll continue to Taxco. Situated in the mountains, this beautiful colonial town is rich with old and new silver mines, has narrow picturesque streets and architecture that have not changed for the last couple of centuries. The town is also renowned for its UNESCO-nominated 200-year-old baroque-style church, the Santa Prisca Cathedral. After a day full of discoveries and sightseeing, you'll enjoy a relaxing drive back to Mexico City.
