Join a tour of the historic centre of México City, the most extensive UNESCO-listed colonial city in America, which was called the City of Palaces in the 19th century. You'll take a walking tour of Madero pedestrian street, along with colonial and art deco palaces.Continue to Xochimilco, a town-like neighbourhood located in the southern part of the city. Explore Xochimilco's renowned canals, the last remnants of an enormous transport system that the Aztecs built. Enjoy a 1-hour ride on a trajinera, a colourful boat similar to a gondola. Next, you will visit the UNAM's Campus (the National University of Mexico) to admire the famous murals by Diego Rivera, O'Gorman, and Siqueiros.
