At La Bocana beach, dive into the tradition of mud therapy. The "Women of La Bocana Cooperative" will lavish you with a concoction of warm mineral water, volcanic ash, organic peat, lake mud, and sea salt. This therapeutic mud dries in a breezy 10-15 minutes, followed by a soothing exfoliation by local experts. Splash into the waves to rinse off, or head to the basic showers to ensure every trace of Copalita's mineral magic is gone. Expect skin as soft as a baby's, with just a swimsuit and flip flops – no extra wardrobe needed. Big, fluffy towels are provided. Next up: mezcal tasting at a top-notch mezcaleria, where we will try three unique mezcals, learning about how it is made, the different flavors, cultures and more.
