La Malinche also known as Matlalcuéyetl, Matlalcueitl or Malintzin, is an inactive volcano of 4.461 meters, is the fifth highest mountain in Mexico is an excellent place for mountaineers who start in this sport.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED: Warm clothes, Medium / high mountain boots (not tennis), Small backpack to carry water, snacks and an additional jacket/sweater. Have a good breakfast before starting the trek. Bring at least 1 liter of water with you for trekking. Bring snacks and lunch to eat on the mountain. Don't forget 2 Jackets/sweater and a raincoat because is rainy season. Sunglasses. Sunscreen. Cap. Long sleeve t-shirt. Trekking pants / leggings (not jeans). Please carry a raincoat and gloves in case to be needed
Not wheelchair accessible. Minimum age is 13 years old.. Service animals allowed. Infants must sit on laps. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. Not recommended for people with symptoms of fever, headache, and cough.
