What To Expect

Tlacotalpan, also known as "The Pearl of the Papaloapan", is a town with well-preserved architecture and traditions. This town has been declared a World Heritage by UNESCO and at the time of its marine boom, came to receive large sailboats and schooners from Europe. During the tour, you will visit the Netzahualcoyotl Theatre or "Windward colossus", and the Agustín Lara house-museum where some of the belongings of the musician and composer are exhibited.Then, you will also visit Alvarado, a city of commerce, where the purchase and sale of sea products is the most common and where its beautiful river carpentry works are recognized throughout Veracruz and the republic.
