What To Expect
This is NOT just a cheese tasting - it is an entertaining and educational experience!
Your guide is a Cheese professional with almost 20 years experience. He has sold cheese in Switzerland, London and now the Netherlands.
He will take you to one of the best cheese shops in Europe. There, he will buy four very special cheeses for you to enjoy. The cheese selection will vary, depending on the season and what he thinks is special that day. The cheeses are very different to what tourists normally try in Amsterdam!
You will then walk to a small craft brewery in Westerpark to enjoy the cheeses with 4 craft beers, brewed on the premises. There you will learn how the different cheeses are made, also, what makes them look, smell and taste different. You will also learn how to choose, travel with and store cheese. Even how best to cut and serve cheese!
Total walking time is 1 hour.
Your guide speaks some Spanish, German and Dutch.
