What To Expect

Travel back in time to experience life in the Middle Ages, the time of the Romans and the prehistoric with your entrance tickets to Archeon Museum Park.Start in the prehistoric times to meet the hunters and collectors. Visit a Mesolithic hut and find out how these hunters lived. You will slowly move forward in history visiting the first farmers, the bronze age and iron age. Then arrive in a Roman city - spot the bathhouse, temple and Roman inn, all build just as the real Romans once did. Become a true Roman and enjoy a Roman massage, make a fibula or choose to go on a spices hunt. In the town of Gravendam people live just as they did in the Middle Ages. Stop at the bakers, the blacksmith and watch the woodworkers. End your journey by becoming a knight and test your skills at sword fighting and archery. There is something to do for everyone! Finally, enter the Roman Museum to admire the different archaeological findings. Listen to the stories of Roman soldiers and locals and learn about their lives.
