Paddling tour along the Akerselva river in Oslo

Accompanied by an expert guide, you will be traveling along the historic Akerselva river in the heart of the city, on a kayak or a stand up paddleboard as per your preference.You will start your journey in the leafy-green district of Grünerløkka. You will pass through Grønland, past the modern Munch Museum and finish the tour at the Opera House Beach. The river is fringed by modern and old buildings alike, crossed by historic bridges such as Ankerbrua and Vaterland, and even features a 500m long tunnel.This tour is suitable for participants with all levels of fitness and experience and can accommodate guests aged 10 years and over. If you are a beginner, your guide will explain everything you need to know about kayaking and paddling before you get in the water.

* Minimum age of participants: 10 years * In this tour you can choose between using an SUP (stand-up paddleboard) or a Kayak * No previous kayak or paddling experience is needed * Bring a towel, a spare change of clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting wet * Dress for the weather: wool underwear if it is cold, waterproof clothing if it is raining, and swimwear if it is hot and sunny * If you have them, wear waterproof rain pants in the kayak to avoid water dripping on your clothes * If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator due to difficult weather conditions or not having enough participants, you will be offered the chance to choose another date or to get a full refund
