Do a guided hike up one of the mountains outside Tromsø that the locals love. With a guide, you are sure to never get lost, and you get to know the city and the culture in a unique way. The tour is done by professional guides, born and raised in the area that will tell you about life in the world's second-largest city north of the arctic circle, and answer any questions you might have. This is your chance to get a crash course in "Northern Norway".
This excursion takes place during the bright season in the north. The midnight sun is visible from the middle of May to the end of July, but the nights are bright throughout May and well into August.
The view is fantastic more or less all the way, no matter what path we chose. We get to see Tromsø from another angle and the panoramic view of the mountains situated on several of the islands surrounding Tromsø.
Not wheelchair accessible. Service animals allowed. Near public transportation. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. This is a hike going upwards for half the time we are out. A nice way to see Tromsø from another angle and get some pulse.. This is a hiking tour. We will not ride a cable car.. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
