What To Expect

One of the best ways to explore Voss and its surroundings is by mountain bike. Book your mountain bike and enjoy the freedom of movement to experience the city and its stunning lands. Meet at the outdoor base 10 minutes before your scheduled renting time to pick up your bike. The staff will give you a safety briefing and help you adjust your bike if needed. Time to head off and start your adventure. Drive through Voss, the forest, hills, and mountains around the city. Admire the stunning sceneries in the various landscapes. When your rental time is almost over, head back to the base to deliver your bike back.

Important info

Children must be at least 5 years old to use a bike themselves. Children under the age of 5 can join in a baby seat on an adult bike, remember to book your free baby seat at checkout
The 20" bike is suited for children up to 120cm, the 24" bike for children up to 150cm
You must be at least 150 cm tall to use the road bike and BMX bike
A weight limit of 120 kg is set for this tour
At checkout, you can choose for a rental of 1-hour, 2-hours, 3-hours, 1-day, 2-days, 3-days, 4-days, 5-days, 6-days or 7-days
From 4-day rentals you can only rent an adult mountain bike
Your bike can be pickup up 10 minutes before the booked timeslot and must be dropped off 15 minutes before closing time at 5.30 pm
You must sign a waiver liability form, an adult guardian must sign a waiver liability form for children under the age of 18
For the mountain bike trip please remember to wear warm layers (thermals, wool, synthetic, not cotton) and comfortable clothes easy to move in, a Windstopper/waterproof jacket
Remember to bring some snacks, and water with you

Meeting Point

The lakeside of Vangsvatnet in Voss, close to Fleischer’s Hotel and the Kulturhus (Culture house – Library). The base is located a hundred meters from the train and bus station of Voss. Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled rental time.
