Chitwan National Park ,situated at the foot of Himalayas is the last surviving example of natural ecosystem of terai region and covers subtropical low land. It is included in World Heritage site in 1984. This park has the exceptional natural beauty with spectacular landscapes, covered with varieties of vegetation and Himalayas. It has the second largest population of species in the world and a prime habitat for Bengal Tiger and great one-horned rhinoceros.
