Trekking to Everest Base Camp is one of the most popular activities among people who visit Nepal for a holiday. The trek starts after an adventurous and thrilling flight to Lukla. The flight itself gives an impressive impression of great mountain views (and heart-stopping approach and landing !) and the trek will take you through wide areas of stunning landscapes, ethnic settlements, years old Buddhist monasteries at Monjo, Namche, Tengboche and Panboche, and ultimately to the midst of towering peaks.
This is moderate to difficult level trekking suitable for people above average fitness level. Anyone who is able to walk about 6 - 7 hours each day is open to join this hike.
Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
