What To Expect
An experience to remember! About Combine the unique crater walking experience with rafting on the Kaituna. An all day combo taking you from the volcanic crater of Mt Tarawera, to the Okere section of the Kaituna River, where you will raft the world’s highest commercially rafted waterfall, take on 14 rapids with world class guides and gear. Each experience is fully guided and no experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided along with your awesome kiwi guides to attend and encourage you along the way.
What to remember
Important info
- Participants under 13 years old are not allowed to join this activity
- A maximum number of participants is 15
- No experience is necessary
- For white-water raft, bring your own swimwear, towel and sunscreen (summer) are recommended
- For Mt. Tarawera volcanic crater hike, it is recommended to bring a warm/windbreaker Jacket, a bottle of water, woolen hat/gloves/scarf (winter)
- Pickup is available from all central Rotorua accommodation and the Rotorua information Centre
