What To Expect

Discover the beautiful Mt Maunganui from the ocean. This is a cultural experience on stand up paddle boards, delivered by tangata whenua (people of the land) of Tauranga.

This experience is around 2 hours long, with approximately 1 hour on the water.

What to remember

Important info

Not wheelchair accessible. Near public transportation. Not recommended for travelers with back problems. No heart problems or other serious medical conditions. Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adult does not need to partake.. Participants will get wet. A dry change of clothes is recommend for after the activity.. This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers. Confirmation will be received at time of booking

Whether you are coming off a ship or meeting us onsite, look for our staff in bright orange uniforms. We can meet at the Port of Tauranga cruise ship gate and escort on foot (5 minute walk), or meet at our beachside location, corner of Pacific Ave and The Mall, Pilot Bay, Mt Maunganui.
