What To Expect

Our tour gives Cruise Ship Guests a genuine NZ back-country experience and a chance to meet local people living and working on the land.

Enjoy the narrated tour on the Coast to Mountains Scenic Drive as we take you to our 280-acre working farm on the banks of the beautiful Mohaka River. You’ll get a slice of NZ Country Life with opportunities to take a scenic riverside walk, observe resident craftspeople demonstrating their crafts and purchasing quality hand-crafted souvenirs, see the farm animals, enjoy fresh country fare, and pick up some homesteading skills on the way. There is also scope to customize the tour to meet special interests.

Not wheelchair accessible. Service animals allowed. Infants must sit on laps. Most travelers can participate. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. This experience requires a minimum number of travelers.
