A new tour designed for Nature Lovers For cruise ship passengers wanting to learn about NZ's wildlife. Led by Otago Peninsula’s longest serving ranger, join us as we explore a variety of wildlife areas and observe our staff monitoring the world’s smallest penguins!
We hope to see a range of wildlife such as seals resting in our reserve, albatross in flight over the Pukekura headland, a range of sea and shore birds.
While sightings of specific species are not guaranteed, the one species we do guarantee is the Blue Penguin.
On this unique 4.5-hour tour led by our ranger, his knowledge comes from his extensive nature work over decades. On this tour, observe us monitoring some of our nesting blue penguins.
