What To Expect

Cooler in climate and late to ripen, Gibbston is home to our original Home Block Vineyard planted by Alan Brady in 1983. Our close planted Glenlee Vineyard is also located in Gibbston on what was once a sheep station. Both of these sites produce high quality and complex fruit used in our single vineyard varietals including our premium range of Pinot Noirs.

From Gibbston Valley Winery, ride the Gibbston River Trail, and explore the Central Otago winemaking region on wheels. The trail winds along the majestic Kawarau River, vineyards and other local wineries. Ride the Gibbston River Trail followed by a winery tour and tasting in New Zealand's largest wine cave. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious main dish of Chefs choice lunch at the winery restaurant.
