What To Expect

Queenstown is the birthplace of tandem skydiving in New Zealand, also known as the 'Adventure Capital of the World'. Queenstown in NZ's South Island is the premium place to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. The drop zone is located at the base of the famous Remarkables mountain range surrounded by a working sheep farm.A skydive host will assist you to gear up and you will be briefed by one of the tandem masters. Your flight to altitude will take you high above the Wakatipu basin, with a bird's eye view of dramatic mountains and lakes. Jumping directly above the drop zone you will experience freefall of up to 25 seconds before your tandem master deploys the parachute and together you glide back to earth. The canopy ride takes approximately 4-5 minutes.

People weighing less than 40kg/88lbs or more than 115kg/253lbs
People less than 120cm/47.2 inches tall

Not allowed:

Personal cameras are prohibited from being on board the aircraft due to safety and insurance reasons

All skydives are subject to favorable weather conditions. It is recommended that you book for your first available day in Queenstown and keep an alternative day free so that you have maximum flexibility. If you can not re-arrange to another date, you'll receive a full refund
Your skydive date and/or time may be different from the one requested. The local operator will confirm your exact flight time by email after booking
All participants over 95kg/209lbs are subject to tandem master assessment at the dropzone
All passengers must fit securely into the harness
All passengers are weighed on the day

Remember to bring:

Footwear that won’t fall off, and an appropriate amount of clothing depending on the season. In winter, wearing multiple layers is more suitable than one large jacket
Passengers under 18 years require written parental/guardian consent
