The Lares Trek to Machu Picchu is a true immersion into local villages outside of Cusco. This trek's slower pace & shorter daily mileage means plenty of time to explore the culture and traditions in the Lares Valley. From the alpine villages you’ll descend into the Sacred Valley, visit the famous salt mines, explore Ollantaytambo, a 3,5000 year old living Inca village, then train to Machupicchu town. The next day, tour to Machu Picchu archeological site with your expert, local indigenous guide, this will be richer because of all the information you get in the Sacred Valley tour.

Briefing the night before of the hike at 6,00pm in our office. Certified english speaking trekking guides. Profesional chefs and porters. 2 night camping and 1 night hotel. Personal porter up to 7k per person (we provide you the duffle bag at briefing time). All transportation during the tour. Round trip Expedition tourist class train.
