What To Expect
Discover the living examples of Inca hydraulic engineering with this tour! The first stop will be in Moray, an ancient agricultural laboratory where over 250 plant species were cultivated during the Inca era.Then, you'll head to Maras, a small colonial town where you'll visit the famous Salt Mines, a group of 3,000 ponds currently used for the extraction of salt since the Inca times. Afterwards, the itinerary will take you to Chinchero, a small town in the valley recognized for its authentic cultural expression and top-quality traditional textiles.The Maras, Moray and Chincero tour will allow you to know much more of the Inca legacy and their influence in our modern days!

- Please be at your hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time
- Lunch is not included, but the tour will stop at one of the restaurants in Chinchero
- Entrance fees are not included and can be purchased at each site
- It is recommended that you may bring comfortable shoes, warm clothing and an umbrella or rain poncho
- For this activity, you need the Cusco Tourist Ticket, a multi-pass ticket issued by the government that includes the entrance to 14 sites in Cusco, the price of the ticket is 130 soles (US$ 35.00) and you can buy them at Counter Central (Av. El Sol 103 Tourist Galleries, Cusco, Peru) from Monday to Saturday from 07:30 am to 6:30 pm
